PCO1000WD0 - pCOWEB, Ethernet serial card for SNMP, Bac-NET, HTTP protocols With Black transparent Casing
The PCO1000WD0 pCOWEB replaces entirely the PCO1000WB0 and the PCO10B0WB0 Interface with the emerging protocols in the HVAC sector and based on the Ethernet‚ standard. Connection to the following networks: SNMP v1,v2,v3 networks with TRAP; BACnet‚ Ethernet™, BACnet‚ /IP networks; LAN or Internet. Using the Web-Server function embedded in the pCOWeb, the user can download the HTML pages relating to their own application via FTP and then use a browser for the remote management of the installation. The embedded LINUX‚ operating system allows the addition of plug-ins developed by the user for their own requirements. The pCO application can therefore now be downloaded from a remote station across the Ethernet network, in maximum security. It also features a logger for creating log files (.CSV) and graphs (.BMP) of limited numbers of variables. BACnet is a communication protocol for building automation, based on the standards defined by US association ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). These standards consequently allow manufacturers to develop BACnet devices and make these interoperable with one another in different systems. Implementation of the standards is verified at BTL laboratories (BACnet Testing Laboratories) operated by the BACnet association. The pCOWeb card has been successfully tested by BTL laboratories. Modbus (modbus.org) is the most widely-used protocol in HVAC/R, being very simple to implement in all development packages and featuring limited use of the system's HW & SW resources. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a protocol for IP networks defined by the Internet Architecture Board (IAB), in order to define commands used to exchange information between different devices over the network. The card also features an integrated Web-Server, which both contains the HTML pages relating to the specific application and allows a browser to be used for remote system management. An internal logger is also provided for creating logs (.CSV file) of 20 variables, and a graph of 5 variables (.SVG file). These files can be received every day via e-mail. The application on the pCO can be updated over a remote connection across an Ethernet network. The embedded LINUX operating system allows applications (plug-ins) to be added, developed directly by users to meet their own requirements.
