Utilizing temperature sensors from the TT-BB family that measure black bulbs, radiant heat in indoor situations is measured. Using black bulb temperature sensors, the comfort temperature—defined as the average of the conductive and radiant temperatures—is ascertained. The sensors used in the devices are either platinum, nickel, or premium thermistors.
