The Carel U1IT00UC00200 is a panel-mount universal electronic controller designed for the regulation of temperature, pressure and humidity in HVAC, air handling, refrigeration and heating applications.

The controller is configurable for ON/OFF, proportional and PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) regulation, with ten standard operating modes selectable via parameter B000. These include Direct, Reverse, Neutral Zone, 3-point floating valve control, and dual-setpoint modes, making it adaptable to a wide range of plant configurations including FCU control, AHU heating/cooling coil regulation, chiller enable/disable sequencing, and BMS-integrated plant.

Inputs and Outputs

The U1IT00UC00200 accepts up to three analogue probes across a range of signal types: NTC, PT1000, 0–10 Vdc, ratiometric 0–5 Vdc, 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA. Two clean-contact digital inputs allow external commands such as summer/winter changeover, alarm acknowledgement or unit On/Off via BMS. Five 5 A relay digital outputs and two 0–10 V analogue outputs cover a broad set of load types including valve actuators, fans and heating stages. The front panel carries an IP65 rating for use in environments where ingress protection of the control interface is required.

Connectivity and Commissioning

Built-in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) enables wireless commissioning and parameter access via the Carel APPLICA mobile app (Android and iOS) at distances up to 10 m. An integrated RS485 port with Modbus RTU protocol (address range 1–247, up to 375,000 bit/s) connects to BMS supervisory systems including Carel Boss and PlantVisorPRO. For desktop commissioning, the Carel Applica Desktop tool connects via the CVSTDUMOR0 USB/RS485 converter.

Scheduling and Alarm Management

An integrated real-time clock (RTC) maintains date and time for 72 hours after power-down. Three daily programmes with four time bands each support Comfort, Economy and Off profiles, including holiday period management. The alarm log stores up to 20 events with timestamps, and output forcing on alarm can be configured independently per circuit via parameters C001/C002/C020/C021.
