The HSU01DU000 - Ultrasonic humidifier for duct application, capacity 1 l/h is piezoelectric humidifier has been designed for applications in air handling and air-conditioning units, with minimum energy consumption.Piezoelectric transducers immersed in water turn electricity into high-frequency mechanical vibrations, atomising the water into an extremely fine mist.

This ultrasonic piezoelectric humidifier has been designed for applications in air handling and air-conditioning units, with minimum energy consumption.Piezoelectric transducers immersed in water turn electricity into high-frequency mechanical vibrations, atomising the water into an extremely fine mist.

The mechanical unit is completely made of plastic, with the exception of the two larger models, which are made of stainless steel.

Each unit is fitted with the following components:
- Piezoelectric transducers (which vary according to the maximum water flow)
- Fill valve
- Fill water float switch
- Protection float switch in case of absence of water
- Thermal protection in case of overheating

The humidifier comes complete with 4 m electric cable for connection to the electrical panel.

The HSU DU humisonic humidifier for duct applications operates on the principle of ultrasonic nebulization and has been specifically designed for installations in compact air-conditioning units, box-type units and intake air ducts.The HSU DU model comes complete with nebulization modules, water supply solenoid valve, float switch and safety float.

Advices for the duct installation
The ultrasonic humidifiers of the HSUDU series have been projected for use with laminar flows and air velocity ranging from 1.5 to 3 m/sec. For stronger air flows provide the unit with a perforated plate to be installed in front of the inlet air side of the humidifier.The perforated plate reduces the free cross section to more than 60% and, as consequence, the air velocity will be reduced as well, thus ensuring efficient performance of the unit. To install the perforated plate fasten an angle section to the the humidifier then fix the plate as shown in the picture below.
